Our in-house testing follows AATCC and ISO standards to simulate real-life conditions and prevent potential fading or bleeding issues.
Step 1: Pre-Production Fabric Review
Each fabric roll is visually checked under daylight and artificial light to detect tone inconsistencies. We then request the mill's dyeing report and perform color deviation comparison (ΔE) using spectrophotometers.
Step 2: Washing Colorfastness Test
Fabric samples are washed repeatedly in detergent and salt solution at 40–60°C.
HUCAI requires Grade 4–5 color retention (on a 1–5 scale, where 5 means no fading).
Step 3: Perspiration & Rubbing Tests
To simulate real sports conditions, fabrics are exposed to acidic and alkaline sweat solutions, then rubbed dry and wet. This ensures that colors remain stable even during high-intensity training.
Step 4: Light Exposure & Heat Resistance
Samples are exposed to UV light and high temperatures to test resistance to outdoor conditions. HUCAI ensures minimal discoloration for yoga, running, and outdoor collections.
Step 5: Multi-Color Compatibility Test
When a garment includes panelled or contrast color fabrics, we conduct cross-dyeing tests by soaking different colors together to check for bleeding or migration. Only fabrics that pass this test proceed to bulk cutting.
